Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in QA automation testing to join our team. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of automated tests and framework that will be used to test the products we’re working on.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute automated test plans
  • Accurately estimate tests and coordinate work activities with team members
  • Apply, design, and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks
  • Analyze and decide on the best automated and manual test approaches
  • Take part in product design to make sure that test coverage meets end-user requirements
  • Design use cases and test cases outlining application workflow
  • Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects
  • Prepare software defect tracking and report the entire project release status to stakeholders

Requirements:


  • At least 2+ years of experience writing automation scripts in one or more programming languages (preferably Python, Selenium, pyTest, Allure)
  • Hands-on in API Testing (preferably Postman, Request)
  • Good Database skills (preferably MySQL)
  • Source code management (preferably Git)
  • Familiarity with CI tools and integration of automated tests in CI cycle
  • Experience in Requirement analysis, Test cases design and Test Execution
  • Ability to dig deep into test failures and work with developers to identify a root cause
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Excellent Team player with strong collaboration skills
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with a desire to deliver accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • English language working proficiency
  • Additional experience with AWS, Docker, penetration testing (Burp, etc.), working with Mac operating system, PHP and Python web frameworks will be considered a plus.
